The idea for Tour of Westmoreland.com is rather basic, actually. One day while traveling throughout the County, for my job, I noticed a winery, a hand-made basket shop and some very impressive looking restaurants. As I told my wife she was enthusiastic, not only to visit these places (which were close to home) but discover more like them. That's when I realized there should be some type of outlet for citizens, and visitors alike, to find all these great places.
A web site seemed like the best idea, because it's potential would be unlimited. Unlike print media the internet is always there and accessible to virtually everyone- all the time!
So Tour of Westmoreland was born...
